Thermal batteries consist of stacks of cells containing solid-state electrolyte and are used in high-power applications, activated by pyrotechnic triggering. These batteries are used in many different applications such as guided munitions, missiles, underwater weapon systems.
LTC batteries are ideal for low-current, long-duration missions and are produced using proprietary glass ampule technology, offering high energy density. They are used in missiles, fuzes and in many other military applications.
